Three Months Old

No "official" three month picture yet, but we did want to share some pictures before it got too late.

Rose has grown so much in the past month.  She's gone from getting her hand into her mouth some of the time, to getting them to her mouth whenever she wants, to grabbing things and putting them into her mouth.

Rose rolled over for the first time at Aunt Jenny and Uncle Josh's house.  We're not sure she did it on purpose, though.  We're also not sure how eager she is to try again, as the four of us adults scared the heck out of her when we cheered her accomplishment.

Rose is doing much better during tummy time, although she's been focused more on trying to crawl than rolling over.  Unfortunately, Rose doesn't have much arm strength yet, so her "crawling" consists of pushing with her legs and scooting her face across the blanket.

Rose's vocabulary has expanded (at least in terms of sounds - no words yet), and if you catch her in a good mood she'll talk your ear off.  Mom and Dad have also taught Rose how to blow spit bubbles and splash in the tub.  Between the spit bubbles, the splashing, and cheering when she burps like a frat boy, we're fully expecting Parents of the Year recognition any day now.

And now, what you really came for: the pictures.

I'm gonna get you!

I don't care how cute I am, I don't want to be in here anymore!

Two Months Old

Rose turned two months old on January 2.  She continues to grow and amaze, and interact with the world around her.  It's amazing how big she has gotten, especially compared to her younger friends.

New friends Izzy and Ally came to visit with their parents

Daddy likes to read to Rose before work.  Rose loves Dr. Seuss!

Rose's First Christmas

Rose got to go to four family Christmases this year.  And while she may be too young to enjoy opening presents, she loved being held by everyone.

Rose has also really started interacting with people and her toys.  She loves watching her mobiles move and having conversations with them.
Rose's new activity mat - not very active right now!
Not a big fan of the headband.

YAY CHRISTMAS!!!

Don't worry Rose, Uncle Ken is keeping an eye on Uncle Josh

One Month Old!

Rose turned one month old on Friday the 2nd.  She's really grown a lot in the past month.  She has started to smile and laugh, and will even make cooing noises from time to time.  The other day she discovered that she can control her hands, and she was just fascinated watching them move around in front of her.

Rose is also awake and alert more of the time now.  She loves listening to and following people and things, and her neck is strong enough to do so... most of the time.  Her "best friends" are the bears that make up her mobile, and she loves following them as they move and listening to the song they play.  Sometimes she even talks back to them!
